The Circus Is Coming To Town!

The Circus Is Coming To Town!

A CIRCUS IN MADISON COUNTY??

Imagine...elephants walking down Main Street from a train car to get to the circus grounds.

Well, that won't be happening, but it would be quite a sight!

Yes, you heard that right....THE CIRCUS!

Looks like fun! I'll come back and give you an update.

I can't even remember the last time I ever went to a circus. Years ago, I toured John Barnum's house and Museum in Sarasota Florida. Remember the Barnum & Bailey Circus? It was a BIG deal!

One of the things I thought was awesome at the Barnum house were the banyon trees on the grounds. There was also a place to sit next to the ocean that had odd sized concrete chairs for special members of the troupe. I could just picture the tatooed lady or the smallest man in the world sitting there enjoying some R & R.

This is a different circus but I'm sure there will be plenty of exciting things to see. It's been a long winter and I'm ready for some of that cotton candy... See you there!

That is pretty amazing.  I cannot remember the last time we had one.  I think it may have been 2001.  The children had a blast!

Lizette you will have to enjoy it enough for both of us and know that I would have been there if it were a few hundred miles closer.  Have some cotton candy for me too!

I used to love the circus but now I worry about the animals so I try to enjoy the costumes. Used to live in Sarasota, home of the Ringling Bros. Circus.

I always enjoyed the circus parade as a child, wow those were the days.  For just a minute I thought that you were gonna have a video of one.  Have fun ma'am.

I used to love the circus as a kid; haven't seen one for 50 years now!
