Winter Eye Candy In Gatlinburg Tennessee

Eye Candy in Gatlinburg Tennessee

Nothing like some nice yummy eye candy.

Actually, I couldn't think of a thing to photograph, until I headed south of the border only a few days ago on New Year's Eve.

I crossed the Kentucky border into the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

I needed a break from blogging and real estate.

I thought I might...what is the word? RELAX

Gatlinburg Cabin by Lizette Fitzpatrick

As I was driving in through the winding roads along the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, I saw plenty of eye candy that I just couldn't resist. I'm sure motorists thought I was holding up traffic as I jumped out to take random shots that I liked.

Hey, that's what tourists do!

Gatlinburg Raptor by Lizette Fitzpatrick

Last...but not least...the Gatlinburg raptor.

Once thought to be extinct, but very much alive and thriving on

unsuspecting tourists in the mysterious Smokey Mountains of Tennessee.

You better keep an eye out for them

as they like to lurk around the outlet malls.

Hi Lizette - what great pictures!  I was in Gatlinburg once, years ago, but I don't remember it looking like that.  This is much more peaceful looking than what I remember.

You sure that's a pirate?  It looks like Paul Bunyon waving the top part of a banjo to me.

What a beautiful place!   I'm still working on getting one for myself.

Lizzette,

I just love these two area of the country, Gatlinburg, TN and the Great Smoky Mountains.  I would not mind retiring in that area.

Thanks for the eye candy ma'am.

Oh my gosh, what great photos. Over the past few years I have had the opportunity to visit TN (go Vols! go Titans!) for various different horseshows. The first time I went back there I fell in love with that part of the country. I would love to move back there someday. The people are nice, the pace of life appeals to me and I just really love the countryside. Thank you so much for the memories your photos brought back. Happy New Year!

Lizette,

I'm just getting to know everyone, and see what all they've been up to. I just discovered your beautiful pictures.

I was looking at some of Erby's comments, and the "Eye Candy in Gatlinburg ..." title caught my eye.

Thanks for the example of really effective titles. I'm working on that.
