Life...Fun and Kentucky Real Estate

Kentucky Horse Farm Tours - A Day in Pictures - Lexington KY

I love my job! Working in and around Kentucky horse farms in Lexington KY is the best part of my day.

One great thing about being in Kentucky real estate is that we really have some beautiful horse farms in our area. It's always fun to show these farms that are for sale in Lexington KY. The past few days I have shown three of the farms. The weather has been perfect for touring and pictures on Old Lemons Mill, Russell Cave Road, Ironworks Pike and Old Frankfort Pike.

Below are photos of where I have been... Enjoy...

Very cool - my daughter and her SO have a 40ac farm in Paris - they're restoring the manor home built in the late 1700's.  I love visiting KY horse country.

THanks Michelle!

Jane - In the 90's I moved to LA and said I would never be back. I don't think I appreciated how beautiful it was here. Now, I am home again and love it.

Trey - I agree. Wish we could have had more rain in the past month. Not too much color in the trees and grass from lack of water.

Jeanne - I absolutely love Paris KY too. There are many gorgeous farms in that area I have shown. Very cool that your daughter is restoring a manor home! I'd love to see it when finished. I just saw another on yesterday on Russell Cave that was drop dead fabulous. It was 160 years old.

Lizette:  Wow those are amazing pictures.  It's interesting that you moved to L.A. and now you are enjoying the beautiful countryside.  I grew up on Canada on a farm and live in L.A now.  Someday I want to go back and enjoy the country as I did when I grew up.  LOL i keep staring at those amazing photos.  Thanks again :)

Hi Lizette, those are beautiful photos. You have captured the beauty of Kentucky! Years ago, Long Island used to be farmland. Not anymore. The East end of Long Island has farms but not like what you have.

Love those photos!  The last 2 are my favorite.  Once you see those fences, you know it's horse country.  :-)

Gordon here for Cherise.  I know Cherise would love to show horse properties like these in Kentucky.  Best to you!

Lizette, what fabulous photos!  I come from England and miss the patchwork quilt of the landscape, divided by post and rail fences.  Here in LA, most horses don't have the luxury of grassy pastures even in equestrian zoned properties.  You are so lucky to be working in such surroundings.

Ok, I'm jealous. Being able to have listings of that caliber with the enjoyment of experiencing them too must be a great blessing.

All the best,
