I Love Kentucky News - International Equestrian Festival Sponsor - Lexington KY
The newsletter, "I Love Kentucky News!" is well into it's 6th year and going strong. I'd like to think it only gets bigger and better. What started as a Publisher style paper newsletter stuffed into red envelopes is now an online weekly publication.
In the last few weeks, I was offered the idea to sponsor Mark Peterson and Dusty - America's Smartest horse and his trainer at the International Equestrian Festival in downtown Lexington KY.
Sixteen days of an event is really a long time. What I realized as I was putting together promotional items was that we really didn't have a permanent logo.
Each month or so I change the header of the newsletter to keep it fresh. Well that will change with the next issue. the new logo will look like this:
This logo will also be on the banner for the front of Dusty's booth at the IEF. The photo was taken by Monica Hess and it is a local picture of one of the horse farms we see everyday.
To make the back of a business card I used one of my pictures taken at Keeneland Race track.
We've come a long way baby!
Who would have ever thought that the newsletter on it's own would be promoting a famous horse and a huge event of a lifetime. WOW!!!!!!!
The FEI World Equestrian Event that the International Equestrian Festival is a part of will be the biggest event to ever be in Lexington KY. In fact it is the first time the event has ever been in North America. It has always been in Europe.
