This is the first time in the history of the World Equestrian Games that they will be held in the United States. The Games will be the largest sporting event in the U.S. for 2010, hosting 1,000 competitors from 60 countries, and is expected to bring over 800,000 equine enthusiasts to Lexington KY. Mark will be the featured speaker for the International Equestrian Festival which will run for the duration of the World Equestrian Games, September 25 - October 10, 2010. He and Dusty will be side by side entertaining and educating the audience for the full 16 days of the festival. Two times each day Mark will appear with Dusty in the center ring to entertain the audience and to educate them about his ground breaking training methods that are nothing less than phenomenal. When Mark and Dusty are not in the center ring they will be found engaging the crowd at their adjacent double booth space. Looks like a show I would not want to miss! And I am missing Kentucky... I spent alot of time there years ago-- it is such a beautiful state with the nicest people!
Sounds like fun. After being away from the racetrack for a time, you start to miss the smell of a horse, so I wish I could come!
Sounds like a great event.
I once owned Paso Fino's and we held out National Show in Lexington one year. What a great city.
This sounds like a pretty interesting and fun event coming up. wish I was in the area, I would def stop on by and check it out :)
As a dressage rider- I would love to see the best of the best out strutting their stuff.
Dusty even looks smart!
Dusty sure is a beautiful boy. I saw a video of his tricks. He is really something to see. Be sure you get his autograph for Chanel (and give Dusty hers too).
Lizette,
When I think of the world's smartest horse I think of Mr Ed.
Steven, I thought so too. I got to meet Mr. Ed when I was a kid.
Lizette, the International should be loads of fun. Please keep up the reports for us.
Lizette,
I think I better stick to knowing the world's smartest squirrel.
Lizette, What a wonderful event for Lexington. 800,000 people flocking in to town. Wow! I would love to meet Dusty...he sounds like an amazing horse.
I liked Mr. Ed too :)
Lizette, This looks like a fun event and Dusty bares a strong resemblance to Trigger (my favorite horse).
