Enjoy Living In Lexington KY...Bring Your Horse too!
The other day, when I was walking from Woodland Art Fair near downtown Lexington KY, I ran into a fellow that was letting his miniature horse eat grass near the street in Ashland Park. Her name was Darleigh and she was so sweet.
Darleigh lives at this couple's house (in the back yard or in the house)and pretty much does what she wants.
She was really enjoying the lush clover
They had a silver trailer in the driveway to take her to hospitals so children can enjoy her too. Like a therapy horse.
I can only imaging the smiles she brings to those children that are having to stay at the hospital.
Lexington KY is the horse capitol of the world and It's a great place to live and enjoy all kinds of horses.

Lizette - What a great thing to do. Hospitals and miniature horseys. Children must love to see them.
Ms Lizette,
This just in, a photo of me breaking a stallion on the harsh Alaska tundra. We are thinking that with the right training this one might have a shot at your famous Kentucky Derby. I am asking an expert.

Lizette,
I've been to Lexington, KY twice in my lifetime and I loved it. Enjoyed going to the horse park. Would love to make another trip there. I'm sure there are many out there that would love to keep their horse in their back yard.

Hey Liz, that is adorable! I hear they make great pet, make sure you have enough room that is for sure :)
She surely is a cutie pie! Wonder if Chanel could get used to a "sister" that size? :)
Lizette, What an adorable horse! I've never heard of a therapy horse, but why not? We have therapy dogs, so why not horses? I can only imagine the smiles and pleasure Darleigh brings to the children at the hospital and wherever she goes.
