Paradise Cove - Richmond Kentucky A Slippery Piece Of Heaven

Finally, Richmond Kentucky has a public pool! It's called Paradise Cove and is located in Gibson Bay. It features a fabulous eight-lane diving pool with two, one-meter diving boards, a children's pool, two 40-foot tall slides, a wide slide and a small butterfly slide for the small tykes.

There is talk of adding a lazy river in Paradise Cove and another slide at a later date. It just wouldn't fit into the original budget. Even though the weather has been a bit cool, the pool is a welcome sight to Madison County locals.

Years ago, I can remember the public pool located in Rolling Hills on the north end of town. I swam there every summer. After that one closed, the only place to go was the public pool in Berea. The closest one built in recent years was at Ft. Boonesborough State Park. That one was still a bit far to drive to.

Summer in Richmond KY is going to be cool regardless of the temperature! See you at Paradise Cove!

Paradis Cove looks very cool Lizette, Kids will love it, (adults too) the slides look awesome.
Lizette,
That actually looks nice. I have this theory that most places called Paradise are not.
Lizette - Paradise Cove looks like the place to be during the summer. My boys would love the water slides.
Lizette,
What a great localism piece. I bet the kids have a lot of fun at the pool.
