I'm Lucky in Kentucky!
We all think we have lucky numbers. If we didn't there would be no Las Vegas. Do you consider the number when you look at real estate or other purchases?
I grew up in a house with the number of 803. Somehow that stuck to me. I don't think it was particularly lucky...but what counted was that I believed it to be.
When I bought my first sports car, an Alfa Romeo, I was at the Madison County court house in the license office begging for any plate that might have a 803 on it.
The lady didn't think I was crazy and dug through piles of tags till she found the perfect one for me.
Excitedly she handed me MYT-803. Everyone waiting patiently and impatiently in the line behind me applauded!
I think they were glad to see me get out of there.
It was easy for me to remember. It sounded like mighty 803! I felt sooooooo lucky!
Later, I bought another car that set off another court house search.
This time I came up with 803-DXZ. I put that on a cute silver blue Toyota MR2.
Both cars were extremely lucky and were never in an accident. The Alfa made it through 7 years and 5 for the MR2. I had lots of fun in those cars!
The latest car I bought after I found out the mileage was 17803! It was a lucky sign. That was 2 years ago and it has been an extremely lucky car. No problems at all.
Maybe it's all just a state of mind where we all feel comfort. It's gives us something familiar in a sea of numbers and uncertain times.
Don't laugh...YOU KNOW YOUR LUCKY NUMBER! You lucky monkey!

Interesting thought.
My son was born in a hospital room that was the same as my parents address.
Best of luck in all your ventures!
Hmmmm, I wonder what the code on all your lockboxes are?
Lizette, My lucky number is just 3. Or anything with multiples of 3 :) I think you're right, we do all have at least one number we consider lucky!
Lizette - My family has lucky numbers, my son Chase's is 11 and Aidan's is 8. This evening my husbands boarded a plane and his gate was C-11.
I had buyers last month that needed to check with their psychic to see if the house numbers were lucky! The house is in Southern Oregon, and the psychic is in Vegas...there was a lot of tex messaging going on before I could write the offer! Thanks for posting!
Lizette,
So far my luck has not extended to numbers I am afraid.
Hey Liz,
Yea lucky numbers makes sense to me, my lucky number is 7 because that's the day that I born :) nice to see you around :)
Liz...803 certainly appears to be your number...I gravitate towards 7, meaning perfection in terms of completion...Have a good day...Cherise
803 uh - we lived at 806 and that number has come across our lives many times - good feelings create good feelings - fun stuff
I need to get out more....visiting on the rain anyway....I'm still twirling about how terrific you look! :) Now on to Lucky numbers! Indeed there are numbers I favor and I also have had clients that favor certain numbers, either in an address or in a price - 8 is one of my faves and it sounds like 8 is GREAT for you too :) Cheers to you being Lucky in Kentucky! Wonderful post Lizette, catchy title!
I don't have any lucky numbers. Frowny face. If somebody asks me to pick a number from 1 to 10, I rarely come up with the same number twice. What's wrong with me? OK, don't answer that.
Lizette - so on your 803rd birthday, you will have reached the epitomy of luck! MAYBE THAT SHOULD BE 80.3 rd birthday to be more realistic.
Lizette--My husband's is 9 and mine is 18...since 9 is half of 18, we got married on the ninth (of March not September). 803 is a pretty unusual lucky number...but then you are a very unique person too. I love the story!
When selling to other cultures, the house number can make or break the sale. If you have a low license plate number does it help you less apt to get stopped or a ticket if speeding? Or is it just status in your own mind that makes folks go after low digit twos, threes on their plate?
