2009 Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event
Once again the fabulous Kentucky Horse Park will be hosting the 2009 Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event on April 23 - 26th. International riders and their horses will be competing for $250,000 in prize money and a chance to win the $350,000 Rolex Grand Slam of Eventing prize.
NBC will be broadcasting the event for the sixth year. Online and advance ticket sales closed on April 1. The general Admission parking will be included in the ticket price.
The newly constructed outdoor stadium will be ready for the Dressage and Jumping Tests. You will be able to watch for free the Show Jumping April 26 on www.universalsports.com if you can't make it to the Kentucky Horse Park. Hi Lizette - It sounds like so much fun to sell Kentucky Horse Farms. We just don't have a lot of horse property here in Orange County, CA any more. When I was a kid, there was actually a public stables right on the beach, but that's long gone.
wow that is a huge purse.... I can not imagine the quality of horses that will be there - are you going?

Lizette this is an awesome event. I love to watch all these beautiful animals perform. The Horse Park is the perfect spot for this big event. I know you enjoy being there in all the excitement.
Thanks for the information. I intend to attend one year. I was lucky to get to see eventing in '84 at the LA Ilympics and Atlanta '96. I evented through training level when I was young, thin and courageous.
